Appraisal reports are written in full compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the standards set forth in the Code of Ethics of the Appraisers Association of America and as outlined in The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Aside from Appraisals, MOSAICO offers Collection Development and Curation expertise.
With regards to MOSAICO’s specialization, Pre-Colombian & Latin American Art, their roots extend from the Rio Grande all the way to the southernmost tip of South America. Dramatism and colorful expressions are commonplace and the message conveyed is worth the at times challenging interpretation. Yet when the poetry pours out, it is euphoric.
The Latin American visual arts expressions are uniquely generous and traces of them are mixed in a variety of work throughout the world, however never straying too far from their original identity. Indeed, many of its artists are unsung heroes that inspire much of this world’s artistic beauty.
Among these is a community of emerging Latin American artists, redefining what it means to be entrepreneurial and deftly operating in a digital world, compelling us to devise new ways by which to recognize their contributions and inevitably understand their value. An inviting and worthwhile challenge.
Against the backdrop of this body of Pre-Colombian and Latin American artwork, which has not been afforded the attention it deserves, MOSAICO is born and commits to working towards its fair appreciation and valuation.
